Bauer Supreme UltraSonic Senior Goalie Blocker

Brand new for 2020, Bauer has continued their revolutionary line and brought out the new Bauer Supreme UltraSonic Senior Goalie Blocker. The UltraSonic Blocker will feature brand new designs and construction to make it the most comfortable blocker Bauer has ever created.

The UltraSonic blocker starts off with a crisp digitally printed graphic to increase blocking surface area. With the reduction of stitches and graphic, the weight is also reduced and gives the blocker a lightweight feel on the back of the hand. Much like the UltraSonic leg pads, the blocker will also feature a new CORTech ST skin to provide better durability over time.

On the board itself, it is created with Control Foam topped with Bauer’s Curv Composite material to help drive pucks hard and away from the body, ultimately giving the goalie the advantage in rebound control and creating more time for recovery. Moving through to the back of the blocker, the blocker is lined with a brand new Quattro Control palm that hugs the hand and gives the goalie the ultimate grip on their stick Also, the Control palm allows for the goalie to control the blocker board itself to ensure pucks are driven away hard and to the corner.

Building off the success of the previous generation, the sidewall is reinforced with CURV Composite and Shocklite technologies that are designed to provide the goalie with a solid blocking surface between the blocker and the body. This sidewall is partnered Shocklite and Poron reinforcements around the thumb and fingers to create a solid seal against the goalies stick and increase hand protection from errant pucks.

Moving through to the wrist area, the UltraSonic pro will feature Bauer’s Free-floating cuff to give the goalie completely uninhibited wrist mobility to make any save. Combining the open cuff and Thermomax+ liner, goaltenders will notice a reduction in heat and sweat throughout game play.

Compared to the Supreme 3S Pro blocker, the UltraSonic will feature higher quality materials both internally and externally that will allow the blocker to have better durability, wrist movement and a lighter weight.
